Model M3SWA-2-50DRB+ is an absorptive, SPDT RF switch with internal driver and low loss from DC to 4.5 GHz. The typical insertion loss is 0.6 dB through 2 GHz and 1.4 dB or less through 4.5 GHz. Typical isolation between output ports is 49 dB or more through 2 GHz and 32 dB or more through 4.5 GHz. The high-speed 50 ohm switch is a good fit for communications, aerospace and defense, and test and measurement applications. It achieves typical 10%/90% rise time of 3.3 ns and typical 90%/10% fall time of 4.6 ns. The typical ON time (50% control signal to 90% RF) is 14.4 ns while the typical OFF time (50% control signal to 10% RF) is 11.3 ns. Control is applied by means of a single TTL line. The switch provides high linearity, with a typical input third-order intercept of +46.5 dBm to 2 GHz and +40.1 dBm through 4.5 GHz. The RoHS-compatible switch runs on +5 and -5Vdc supplies and handles input signal power as high as +24 dBm at operating temperatures from -55 to +100ºC. The MMIC switch is supplied in a tiny eight-lead MCLP package measuring 3.25 x 3.25 x 0.9mm.
