General Conditions
Publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising which he feels is not in keeping with the standards of the publication. The publisher assumes no liability for errors in content, Reader Service numbers or advertisers index. The publisher is not responsible for any errors or omissions that occur in advertisements or the omission thereof.

Publisher's Copy Protective Clause
Advertisers and advertising agencies assume liability for all content (including text, representation, and illustrations) of advertisements printed, and also assume responsibility for any claims made against the publisher arising therefrom.

Advertising materials and artwork will be destroyed after one year unless advertiser notifies publisher in writing that material is to be returned. MPD does not return CDs.

Photos and other reproduction materials for On The Market, Literature and Marketplace sections are not retained on file.

Short Rates and Rebates
Advertisers will be short rated if, within a 12-month period from the date of first insertion, they have not used the amount of space upon which their billings are based. Advertisers will be rebated if, within a 12-month period from date of first insertion, they have used sufficient additional insertions to warrant a lower rate than that at which they have been billed.

Commission
15% of gross billing allowed to recognized advertising agencies on space, provided account is paid within 30 days of invoice date.

No Charge.

Inserts
Black and white page rates apply. Inserts must be furnished untrimmed and must allow for saddle-stitch binding. Maximum weight: 80 pound cover or 100 pound coated stock. Allow 1/8 inch trim all around.

Trim size: 9-3/4 x 13-3/8 inches.
Contact publisher on inserts of four or more pages and mailing information.

Issuance and Closing Dates
Issued monthly on or about the 12th of each month. Closing date for orders is the 10th of the month preceding issue. In the event the 10th falls on a holiday, Saturday or Sunday, the closing date will be the following business day. All cancellations must be received in writing in the N.J. office no later than 5:00 PM, EST on the business day preceding the closing date for orders. Cover and/or preferred position contracts and/or orders are non-cancellable. Orders and material from Asian countries must be in the publication’s
NJ office five days prior to the closing dates.
