Comb Generator
The CG1000 series comb generator provides a combline of CW outputs up to 26 GHz. Picket sizes of 500, 750 and 1000 MHz are available, A TCXO, PLO and integrated amplifier are all included in the compact design. Frequency range is 1 to 18 GHz.

QFN Packaged Up-Converter
A 37 to 40 GHz GaAs MMIC up-converter, model XU1019-QH, integrates an image reject balanced mixer, LO buffer amplifier, LO doubler and RF buffer amplifier within a fully molded 4 x 4mm QFN package. It delivers +20 dBm IIP3 and 7 dB conversion gain.

RF Transformers & Diplex Filters
A family of CATV RF transformers and RF diplex filters meets DOCSIS 3.0 design requirements for applications such as set-top boxes, cable modems, and gateways, supporting frequency bands 5 to 65/85 to 1002 MHz, 5 to 42/54 to 1002 MHz, and 5 to 85/108 to 1002 MHz.


SMA Transfer Switches
New micro miniature SMA transfer switches incorporate SMA connectors to allow high-density packaging and excellent electrical performance through 26.5 GHz. The switch is available in failsafe and latching configurations with a choice of three frequency ranges and three coil voltages.

Bluetooth Low Energy Test Solution
Designers and manufacturers of Bluetooth® products can now use a new Bluetooth low energy testing option to conduct radio layer testing that is in compliance with the newly adopted Bluetooth Core Specification 4.0. With the option, engineers can use the MT8852B to complete a test script covering Bluetooth Basic Rate, EDR, and low energy measurements in <15 seconds by pressing a single key, greatly simplifying production test programs.

LTCC Bandpass Filter
The BFCN-2435+ LTCC bandpass filter is constructed with 12 layers in order to achieve a miniature size and high repeatability of performance. Covering 2435 MHz +/-95 MHz, these units offer low insertion loss and good rejection. Frequency range is 2340 to 2530 MHz.

Coaxial to Waveguide Adapters
Now available are coaxial to waveguide adapters in a variety of configurations. Option A are broadband adapters with excellent electrical specs maintained over the entire bandwidth. Option B offers enhanced performance over a specific band of the adapters’ bandwidth.

RoHS Compliant VCO
Model ZRO2300A1LF in S-band operates at 2285 to 2315 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc. It is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 18 mA (typ.) over the temperature range of -40 to +85ºC.

Scalable Microwave Switching Solutions
Two new RF/microwave switching solutions, the EX7105A and EX7204A, are part of the EX7000 series. These high-density instruments have an open-platform COTS core that can be easily configured for a variety of custom applications.

LTCC Bandpass Filter
The BFCN-7900+ LTCC bandpass filter is constructed with five layers in order to achieve a miniature size and high repeatability of performance. Wrap-around terminations minimize variations in performance due to parasitics. Frequency range is 7800 to 8100 MHz.
 
Transient Capture and Timestamp Module
The EX1200-7416 is a transient capture and timestamp module that further extends the capabilities of the popular EX1200 series of configurable LXI Class A instruments. With a rich feature set, it supports a broad range of applications that require level comparison, event detection, and time stamping.


SPDT T/R Switch
The HMC784MS8GE is a low loss, high linearity GaAs pHEMT 10W SPDT MMIC switch for use in transmit/receive applications which require very low distortion at high input power levels. It can control signals from DC to 4 GHz and is housed in a MSOP-8G leaded package.

MicroSynth™ Integrated Synthesizer Module

The HMC-C070 MicroSynth product is a fully integrated broadband synthesizer module. Operating from 5.5 to 10.5 GHz, the unit delivers excellent phase noise performance and is ideal for military radar, EW, ECM, test & measurement, and lab instrumentation applications. Combining high performance SiGe, GaAs pHEMT, and InGaP HBT technologies into a highly compact 1.36 x 0.75" hermetic package, the HMC-C070 MicroSynth delivers excellent phase noise performance of -117 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz, and a hermetic package which is significantly smaller than existing solutions. This broadband synthesizer also features auto and manually triggered sweep functions, making it a valuable building block for test and measurement applications. Specified for -40 to +85ºC temperature operation, the module features field replaceable SMA connectors and is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions. This rugged module may be upscreened to meet higher military standards upon request.

Rugged Power Amplifier
Designed for military applications and environments, the MSD-1698904 is a rugged power amplifier featuring 40 dB gain in a frequency range of 400 to 500 MHz. Gain flatness is +/-1 dB across its bandwidth and +47 dBm output power at 1 dB compression typical (46 dBm min.). I/O VSWR is 2.0:1. Operating temperature range is -55 to +85ºC.

High Power, Compact GaN Amplifier
Model number SSPA 0.8-2.5-40 is a high power, Gallium Nitride (GaN) amplifier that operates from 800 to 2500 MHz minimum and is housed in a compact, high performance package. The amplifier is designed for operation in harsh environments. Typical output power is 40W across the band at P3dB. Small signal gain is 53 to 54 dB across the band (typ.). Power added efficiency in saturation is typically 30 to 40% across the band. Input and output VSWR is 2.0:1 maximum. The unit is equipped with DC switching circuitry that enables and disables the RF devices inside the amplifier in 3500 nSec typical for turn on and 1600 nSec typical for turn off time. Standard features include reverse polarity protection, output short and open circuit protection, and over/under voltage protection. This unit operates from -40 to +85ºC base plate temperature. Noise figure is 6.0 dB typically across the band. This compact, high power RF module can be employed in high shock and vibration environments. Standard housing size is approximately 2.5 x 6.4 x 1.0". An SMA female connector is standard on the RF input port. DC and logic connections are accessible via a DSUB connector.

Active & Passive GPS Antennas
These rugged, sealed, field-replaceable, shock-mounted GPS antennas use a commercial quadrifilar helix antenna element in spin-on SMA and TNC versions, as well as slide-on SMB version. The antennas are designed using compliant RF connection that combines mechanically isolated ceramic antenna elements with integrated weather seals for use in military environments. They are sealed to 1 meter of water depth and feature advanced assembly tuning to maintain antenna element match and minimize losses. Frequency Synthesizer

The MBS-8000 frequency synthesizer operates as a broadband RF signal generator from 500 to 8000 MHz. It is capable of 100 KHz step size, <10 mSec switch speed, and utilizes a 10 MHz external or internal reference. The MBS-8000 operates on +5 VDC @ 230 mA and features +7 dBm output power, low phase noise (<-95 dBc/Hz @ 100 KHz, Fout=8 GHz), from -30 to +70ºC. Additional features include low spurs and harmonics. The MBS is small (3.5 x 2.5 x 0.6") and has female SMA connectors on the reference and RF I/O ports. The programming connector is a Micro-Mini-D, 21-Pin Male. It includes an easy-to-use and easy-to-install GUI interface for laboratory or field programming via PC.
