Model LFCW-5000+ is an extremely compact low pass filter based on rugged low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) technology. With a low-loss passband of DC to 5 GHz and stopband extending from 5 to 26.5 GHz, the filter can handle power levels to 3W in a tiny 0603 surface mount technology (SMT) configuration with wraparound terminations that supports the densest circuit designs. The 50 ohm low pass filter achieves typical passband insertion loss of 1.6 dB from DC to 5 GHz with low passband VSWR of typically 1.60:1 and 3 dB cutoff frequency of 5750 MHz. Stopband rejection is typically 40 dB from 7.2 to 7.6 GHz, 43 dB from 7.6 to 11.0 GHz, 34 dB from 11.0 to 16.0 GHz, and 15 dB from 16.0 to 26.5 GHz. The stopband VSWR is typically 20.0:1 from 7.2 to 26.5 GHz. Suitable for a wide range of commercial and military applications, including harmonic rejection, the LTCC low pass filter measures 0.063 x 0.032 x 0.024” and handles operating temperatures from -55 to +100ºC.
