The 1027-035 ruggedized passive L1 antenna is designed for Iridium or GPS receivers, manpack radios, hand-held tactical radios, and other small form factor systems. It is a quadrifilar helical design with excellent axial ratio and light weight. The antenna is waterproof to 20 m when mated, uses a recessed male TNC non-rotating RF connector, and is IP67 rated. It is also an excellent choice for low-profile vehicle mounts, intelligent munitions systems, dismounted soldier-level communications, unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, IED recognition and destruction jamming, asset tracking, precision timing, and machine-to-machine applications. Other markets include oil and gas and law enforcement.
