X-band Digitally Tunable Filter

The ADMV8913-EP MMIC digitally-tunable filter is designed for test and measurement equipment, military radar, EW, ECM, satellite communications, and industrial and medical equipment. It meets stringent size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) requirements over a traditional discrete implementation. It has integrated high-pass and low-pass filters that allow a passband response between 6.6 GHz and 11.9 GHz. Flexible architecture enables the 3 dB cutoff frequency of both filters to be independently controlled. Typical insertion loss is 5.3 dB and wideband rejection is 35 dB. The filter can be used as a smaller alternative to large, switched filter banks and cavity-tuned filters. It supports the AQEC standard with an operating temperature range of −55°C to +105°C, a controlled manufacturing baseline, one assembly/test site and one fabrication site, and enhanced product change notification. Qualification data is available on request.
