12-slot SOSA-aligned 3U Backplane
This 12-slot 3U VPX SOSA-aligned backplane provides a mix of plug-in card slots that allow onboard complex high-speed signal processing to support 100 Gb/s Ethernet. These high-speed signals are supported on all data paths and the backplane supports VITA 67.3 connectors that are compatible with legacy VITA 67 versions as well as optical I/O connectors. It also includes precision network timing plus the integration of mixed-payload modules, including single board computers, switches, or radial clocks, and system expansion. Expansion plane links include PCIe Gen 4 and optionally 100Gbase-KR4 and data and control plane support for 10Gbase-KR4 and 25Gbase-KR. The backplane has two switch slots, a PNT timing slot, nine payload slots, and two VITA 62 PSU slots.
