Two-channel Software-defined Radio

The Badger™ is a 2-channel SDR that operates from 2 to 512 MHz built using an open architecture that results in a flexible voice and data communication platform. The radio is based on the Digital Modular Radio (DMR) that currently operates aboard U.S. Navy surface and sub-surface vessels, fixed sites, and other DoD communication platforms. It is secured by General Dynamics’ programmable Advanced INFOSEC Machine (AIM) technology-certified Type 1 capabilities that secure communications and simplify the system architecture. The radio is being certified to pass secure voice and data at Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) over HF, VHF, UHF, and SATCOM/MUOS channels. It is available in an enclosure that measures 11.23 x 22.09 x 8.82 in. and requires an AC supply from 100 to 140 V.
