Adcock Direction-finding Antenna

The DF-A0254 is a dual-band Adcock direction-finding antenna that operates from 400 MHz to 6 GHz and presents patterns suitable for the Watson-Watt estimation as well as three-channel correlative direction finding (CIDF). The antenna output can also be used for monitoring and has an integrated noise source for calibration, passive GPS, and an electronic compass. The low-noise amplifier on each channel has passive bypass capability and an optional external signal for downstream RF chain calibration. Switching time is less than 100 µs using serial commands and less than 5 µs when using dedicated lines. The antenna can survive winds up to 160 km/h (without ice), temperatures from -30º C to +70º C, vibration and shock meeting MIL-STD-810F for ground vehicles and has an IP66 rating. The antenna is powered by 6 to 18 VDC at 3 W.
