Ku-band Synthesizer
The RFE-2017021 Ku-band frequency synthesizer is designed for EW, SIGINT, radar and microwave radio applications and operates from 11 to 15 GHz with a switching speed of less than 50 µs, spurious rejection of -60 dBc, RF output power of +12.5 dBm +/-2.5 dBm, harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and spurious rejection of -60 dBc. Phase noise at 10 GHz is -70 dB/Hz at offsets up to 100 kHz and -105 dBc/Hz at a 1 MHz offset. It can handle an RF input power up to +3 dBm and is housed in a 3.8 x 3.5 x 0.45 in. enclosure. It uses serial SPI with lock detection and operates from +12 and +8 VDC supplies. Operating temperature is -20° C to +75° C and custom vibration, shock, and temperature cycling specifications can be tailored to specific requirements.
