Block Upconverter

The SB52KOA GaAs block upconverter converts input frequencies from 950 to 2000 MHz to output frequencies from 27.5-31 GHz and delivers output power of 80 to 100 W with gain of more than 63 dB that is adjustable between 0 and 30 dB in 0.1 dB steps. It has phase noise of -145 dBc/Hz at a 1 kHz offset and spurious levels of -60 dB. The converter requires an AC supply voltage of 110 to 240 V and consumes 800 VA. The SB49KOA can be controlled via Ethernet or serial interfaces and is available in an IP66-based weatherproof enclosure that measures 9.5 x 8.1 x 17″ and has a female Type N input connector and WR-34 grooved waveguide flange at the output. The unit can be mounted directly at the antenna.
