Tactical Manpack Radio
The Spectre V® PRC2150 is a tactical manpack radio that features GPS capability embedded in the transceiver and provides tactical VHF communications capability in the 30 to 88 MHz band. It is designed to satisfy the demanding needs of today’s tactical communications arena and is available as either a 10 W manpack or a 75 W mobile or fixed station system. It meets MIL-STD-810 for reliable operation in harsh environments, and built-in-test capabilities allow maintenance personnel to monitor the performance of the radio with status messages shown on the PRC2150’s display. It has integrated antenna matching and 100 programmable memory channels that can be independently configured for any mode. The radio measures 3.5 x 8.5 x 9.5 inches including the battery pack.
