Ruggedized 200 W Rack-Mount Amplifier
The BHED2719-200 is a 200 W GaN power amplifier designed for use in communication, EW, and radar transmitter systems where space, cooling, and power are limited. The amplifier operates in Class AB from 20 to 1000 MHz with an RF input of +3 dBm and accommodates multi-tone, CW, AM, FM, SSB, and pulse modulation. VSWR is 2:1, harmonic rejection is -15 dBc, spurious rejection is 60 dBc, AM distortion is less than 10%, and noise quieting speed is 10 µs. Protection is provided for VSWR, overdrive, over-current, and thermal overload, and control is via RS-422 with front panel indication of thermal fault and power on. It uses female Type N connectors at the input and output, has an operating temperature of -10° C to +50° C, and shock and vibration are supported to MIL-STD-810G.
