The DRF3182 3U OpenVPX board is a high-speed data converter that can digitize HF signals in radar, communications, and electronic warfare systems. It has four receive and four transmit channels and can operate at frequencies up to 3 GHz. The DRF3182 removes the need for RF-to-IF downconversion before digitization, which can improve performance and reduce costs. The data capture capability combined with processing from Intel’s Stratix 10 FPGA provides frequency agility to allow systems to respond rapidly to changing spectral environments. State-of-the-art on-chip interconnections and packaging provide lower latency and power than serial interfaces that use discrete transceivers.
