Modular Switching System
The SLM128X is a modular 850 to 2450 MHz switching system that can be configured to route signals in either a fan-out or fan-in configuration up to 64 x 128 (fan-out) or 128 x 64 (fan-in) channels in a single 4RU unit. Multiple units can be cascaded to support expansion to larger configurations. The SLM128X is field-configurable, so it can be adapted to meet changing needs. It can be configured from a small 8×8 system to a large 64×128 system (fan-out). The input and outputs can be populated independently in single 8-channel increments. The front panel includes a touchscreen display with a menu-driven operation that can be password-locked to prevent unauthorized access. The unit can be configured with one or two hot-swappable plug-in control CPUs.
