The Airborne SAASM Receiver (ASR) 3.7-DS from BAE Systems is an airborne GPS receiver for L1 and L2 bands. It has 96 channels (48 hardware channels per thread) and hosts individual civil and military receivers on a single ASR board. The receiver has Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) capability for accurate positioning and interfaces with the company’s GPS Anti-jam Receiver (DIGAR) to provide anti-jamming for warfighters who must operate in challenging environments. The receiver supports all-in-view satellite tracking for optimized geometry and satellite drop-out immunity and Fault Detection and Exclusion (FDE) per DO-229 providing navigation solution integrity. It has a PLGR hot-start time of 5 s and time accuracy PPS of less than 30 ns.
